We would like to introduce everyone to our Operations Manager/Business Development Specialist, Sherri Stayer! In her role, Sherri oversees the operations management of the Altoona Corporate Headquarters and Development Center, the Pittsburgh Development Center, and the Wilmington Development Center. She is also responsible for developing business leads and client relationships in the Central Pennsylvania market.
Sherri is a skilled professional who brings an abundance of experience to her new role. In 1983 she graduated from Penn State University with a Paralegal Certificate and has since held positions during her career in the legal and medical fields, as well as post-secondary education, and the transportation industry. Her diverse background has been a great asset!
Being active in the community is one of Sherri’s favorite past times. Currently, she serves as Chair of the Chamber Ambassadors, and a committee member for the Leadership Blair County Adult Program. a program from which she is a 2012 Graduate, the Leadership Blair County Alumni Committee from whom she received the honor of a Fellow Award in 2022, as well as the Golf Committee; the Steering Committee of the Healthy Blair County Coalition and Chair of their Alliance for Nicotine Free Communities Committee; and the United Way of Blair County, where she serves as a Board Member and Vice-President of the Board. Previously, she has been involved with the Hollidaysburg Area Youth Football Association; American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life; and served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Respiratory Disease Society, the Blair County Chamber of Commerce, and Treasurer of the Board of Trustees for Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries.
In her free time, you can find her spending time with her family or by the pool!
